About the shop:

(Humble Beginnings...The shop circa 1975)

We are a family owned establishment located along the Pacific coastline in Leucadia CA, specializing in original beach and surf designs with themes of Leucadia, Encinitas, and other coastal North County towns of San Diego. We have been in the same location since 1975 and we were orginally Deluxe Airbrush. The first 4 years we had nothing but hand painted airbrush t-shirts and sportswear. Our look was extremely popular and it seemed every local girl had to have something from our shop.

In 1980 we branched out and offered screenprinting in addition to to our airbrushed clothing. Screen Printing became our main focus and we sold to shops worldwide in addition to our evolving retail business. We changed our name to Shatto and Sons in the mid 90's when 2 of my 3 sons became part time in the shop. In our facilities, we now have the "Surf Hut" Fine Art Gallery and Mozy Cafe, in addition to our quality T-shirt art.
